Biography

As a current research assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Olivia Kaneko is deeply committed to advancing the understanding, prevention, and treatment of cancer through rigorous scientific research and collaborative engagement. She has a Bachelor of Science from Rice University, and she is currently conducting postgraduate research with the goal of applying for a Ph.D. in computational cancer immunology. Her broader career goals are to apply computational skills to the field of cancer immunology to elucidate mechanisms of innate immune activation and investigate the role radiation and therapeutics play in slowing cancer progression.
