Jamal Khan is a 2nd-year BDS student at Khyber College of Dentistry, Peshawar, Pakistan, with a strong interest in biomarker research, particularly salivary biomarkers. He has conducted several systematic reviews and analyses in this area, including work on salivary miR-21, and is currently in the process of planning a laboratory-based study on a novel microRNA in saliva. He aims to further contribute to non-invasive, precision-oncology approaches for the early detection of oral cancer.
